Additional Information:
PRE-REGISTRATION AND PRE-PAYMENT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES. WALK-INS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.
Refunds will be issued under the following three circumstances:
1. PLEASE choose your class carefully. If you are unable to attend the course, a refund will be issued for cancellations made at least 3 business days prior to the start of the course, less a $15 administrative fee for basic level classes, $30 for Instructor and Aquatics courses. Cancellations received less than 3 business days prior to the start of the course will be refunded at 50% of the registration fee.
You may transfer to other courses dates for no additional fee, however an administrative fee of $15 will be charged if made less than 3 business days prior to the start of class.
The American Red Cross Badger Chapter reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. In the unlikely event that your course is cancelled we will make every attempt to contact you prior to class and transfer you in the next available course or issue you a full refund.
2. Students in Instructor or Aquatics classes, who do not successfully pass any of the pre-course test(s) [written or verbal], will not be allowed to continue the class for certification. However, they may elect to audit the remainder of the class. Those students who do not successfully pass any pre-course test(s), and elect not to audit the remainder of the class, may register for the same class at a later date (up to six months) applying 75% of the course fee to the next class.
Students who do not successfully complete the pre-course session and elect not to enroll in another course will be given a refund, less a $30 administration fee.
3. Students who do not attend class and have not cancelled their registration prior to class, during business hours, are not eligible for a refund. Students who pass the pre-course and choose not to complete the class are not eligible for a refund.
Replacement Card Policy:
A $10.00 administrative fee will be charged for a reprint of certification cards per request.
Meal Breaks:
Any course that is scheduled for more than 7 hours at a time will include a 30 minute meal-break included in the published course time.
